In fact, she looks great. I love her outfit/style on this cover. Jus the kind of look i wld love to carry off everyday (minus the spilling boobs) but due to unfortunate circumstances, i cannot.
She is that someone. But I think we only love to hate someone coz of the good things they have that we don't have. Its a mix of envy, jealousy and idolising. I wish i could have her life, but not be her.. if that makes any sense.. ANd when you see things like this.. it just drives that wish to be like smoeone you idolise home hard.

After walking onto the court... getting ready and walking to their sides. Maria decided to receive in the coin-toss, A. Chakvetadze to serve first

So anyway, the match went on... 1st went to Maria 6-0.
The 2nd set started off in similar fashion, however Anna was quick to get the lead. It went to 3-1 for Anna before Maria finally decided to get her act together and started winning some points.
Then.. at some stage it was 5-2 to Anna... and Maria wins all sets to make it 6-6.
In to the tie-breaker set!!!
That was one exciting set... i caught a shot of the scoreboard at 8-7 to Anna.. but the rest of the match was so exciting, i forgot to snap the final result...
It went from Anna's Set Point to Maria's Match Point and backwards and forwards.. till they finally reached the final result:

WOOHOO!!! The star wins and all are inspired =) well, i am at least =) Tmw im gonna grab my bike and hit the road again. And i shall start running more regularly (and not jus when im feeling fat) again. She is like the proof that a female athlete's dream can come true, successful sporting career, pretty good looking and has successful career outside of sports as well. She has setup a few foundations and has her own fragrence line as well. To see her smash Anna 6-0 in the first set is so powerful (from a mental standpoint); its really inspiring.
So yeah.. A and gf were there. We tot of going supper after the match, however A had to send some ppl home. So CAF and I went to grab a quick bite. I now feel kinda bad for leaving the place after ordering my food but leaving after it nvr came... but the auntie cldnt push out 3 pieces of Chee Chong Fan after 30min.. So i left to come home to this:
Thank god i did  motherly love...We were supposed to leave the house about half an hr ago.. but i was so engrossed in one particular puzzle, i told CAF, give me a while more, i want to finish my puzzle first before we go. However, My puzzling marathon has been interupted by a knock on the door. The friendly postman brought this:

puzzling...being right smack bang in the middle of the festive and holiday period.. one tends to do silly things.. like playing puzzle Bee the entire nite white the husband nerds off with his RC Cars...

so sad rite... but im wondering wats with the above rubber duckie's man, is there like some cult somewhere in this world where its cool to collect all kind of different rubber duckies?? coz all those duckies have names and quite funky patterns.

pleasent surprisebeen kinda quiet here... i suppose coz its Christmas and we're jus chilling at home.. training has pretty much ground to a complete halt and so has pretty much everything else... work didnt even get a chance to wind-up after the Xmas break coz its the New Year long break as well....
CAF and I went to Hann's House on Xmas day for Dinner. E and gf, T and gf came as well. P of course was there too =) The amount of food was INSANE!!! We cld have fed twice the amount of ppl that came. But it was nice to chill at Hann's house and enjoy good food =) Hann's mum makes a super nice choc mousse and her mum made one of the best stuffings ive had in a LONG time =) Was nice to feel a bit of Xmas again =) Thanks Hann for inviting us =)
I been playing with my new phone quite a bit, trying to set everything up, from email to msn... to everything really... signed up with this new Pfingo thing which is saw on Janice's website. actually she put it up on her msn for a while, but nvr really had a chance to use it coz my phone was kinda backwards. But with the new toy, i found myself bitching with nDrea bout work on the train and discussing with P whether she shld join Coach's sessions next yr!! ha.. so fun =)
Anyway, today i went back to work after the long Xmas break and a pleasent surprise was awaiting in my mailbox =)
I won a pair of tix to see MAria Sharapova LIVE at the Indoor Stadium this Sunday!!!
If my mum was here, i'd bring her, coz she LOVES Tennis. not too sure who her favourite player is coz she's kinda from the Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi era.. but I'm sure she wld love to go. So instead, im going with CAF =) To be honest, I'm not a real hard core Tennis fan, however I jus want to see Maria - a star in her own right. Its not so much an obsession about the Maria herself, however the adoration of the fact that she is such a successful athlete. She is like one of the FEW Female athletes that we use as our Brandvoice athletes.. I use her so many times in so many stores.. wld jus love to see her in real. i'm kinda like the fan that stands at the back and feels happy jus to see with my own eyes, so i'm pretty excited =) Jus like the time when Carl lewis came. Although his time was like way before the time i even got into sports, jus to see him in real can make u feel good =)

But today is AP's Wedding Dinner and the whole RD Gang is going to celebrate this special moment with her =) Wanna wish her all the best in her married life. Hope her and her hubby G live happily eva after =)
So i'm jus chilling at home till we go out later. SC5 jus msged, asked me if i wanna go run later.. i'm realy itching to go coz i havent worked out the entier last week due to a minor flu.. shld i go.. shld i go...
no new SmallKatze....we went to PetTales today to look for a new SmallKatze...
I knew it would be hard to replace SmallKatze coz we liked SmallKatze so much, his character, his looks.. its hard to replace one of your favourites... but we at least wanted to try. So when we went down to the shop, i think our expectations were really too high. the Ragdoll's were either too skinny, not fluffy enough, tail not nice, face not black enough, colour distribution not nice... We saw one that was sooo playful, jus like SmallKatze, but it had extremely slitty eyes and the face was all white, not grey or darkish... no good...
SIGH!!!
BUt ya.. i rather have SmallKatze back.. after seeing those Katze's today, I realise how pretty SmallKAtze was.. he was jus on the small side for his breed... but oh well. we'll keep looking for a new one. He will come... soon... i know it.

SmallKatze...he left us last night to another world...
this morning when i rattled the food box, only 3 came.. the most eager eater nvr came to eat. It was so quiet, i wondered where SmallKatze was.. thinking he might be locked in the spare room over night, we quickly checked the other room, but no one rushed out...
so we did our usual search of the house, but nothing. thinking he might have slipped out while CAF was spraying his RC Car body outside, we searched the block but with no luck. So, we made flyers and pasted them around the block. Next thing.. I received the call no pet owner wants to receive...
"Hello, are you the owner of the white cat? i saw the flyer in the lift"
"ya.. I am, have you seen him?"
"Im so sorry, I think your cat passed away, i saw his lifeless body this morning at the drain next to Blk *** {My block} this morning when i went out. I just came back and saw your poster but the cat has been moved... I'm so sorry"
".... Thank you for calling ...*
Then tears dropped from my eyes..
and are still dropping...
I searched the entire block for the cleaner or caretaker to find SmallKatze's body, but i cldnt find him.. I need to find him tmw to confirm SmallKatze is really gone from this world.. but its quite likely that he died... others called me that they saw the body with blood coming out of his mouth..

 I will never forget you... when we got you from PetTales, you were so adorable, you were the smallest of the lot, but the biggest bundle of joy and so friendly. You sat so nicely on my lap when we drove you home. And you were so pretty too.. so nice and soft. I know you hated the meds we had to feed you for your upset tummy, but I still love youu.

Shame to eat really...
Yoga-ingSo after trying to arrange this for sooooo long, i finally followed E yesterday morning to do Yoga =) I think we did something that is called Ashtanga (LED)... i tried doing a Yoga Core session with M before, but it was like.... no kick at all. i still remember how we came out and looked at each other saying - "Thats it??"
But ya, the session with Elvia was good. Found myself doing things that i normally wld nvr do, work areas that i dun like to workout and found myself doing things that i didnt know i cld do!! Like that lifting yourself off the floor thing whilst sitting down and headstand!! And i broke a sweat!! not a lot though; seems that i jus don't sweat... but i found myself having to take a conscious break. doing all those positions which i have nvr done before is quite hard!!!
E is like fwahh... she can do all the stuff and looks like super sturdy when she does them. Then there was this older lady she jus did the headstand and waited there for ages man.. so secure and steady. And even the big tummy Ang-Mo there can do the frigging handstand without the support of the wall!! And all the other exercises!! It was a truly eye-opening session. Anyway, i enjoyed yesterday so much that im thinking of signing up for a package as well. but then, what am i gonna do with my gym membership?? oh well... jus keep first =)
So today my arms or more like my chest area there, the muscles are screaming!!! also my inner thigh... wahh.. thank god i dun have swimming tmw, i think i might suffer like a dead dog...
so i suppose... a change in wardrobe is up =) I need a Yogamat, maybe i shld buy some more of those gym tops... right now i got all the Running tops and shorts, but not many of the yoga tops or bottoms.
Schwimming!! So fun!!Normally Schwimming is good. but yesterday it was fun =)
we did our regular System 1, followed by RELAY GAMES!!!
My team was again a 3 man team...
Coach joined us for a change which was nice =)
In total we did 5 relays -
Relay 1: 4 * 50m Free - Result - 1st!!
Relay 2: 4 * 50m IM - Result: 1st!!
*but man.. after the IM Relay my legs were burning due to the lactic acid buildup... mann... the cold water didnt help at all....

Relay 3: 4 * 50m 'Balancing water-filled cup on ur forehead'-swim - Result - 2nd... ok
Relay 4: 4 * 50m 'Swim with a pale' - Result: 1st!!!
And I have to point out here... Coach claims i cheated coz i swam with the pale on my head and hands out of the water instead of jus dragging it along... he nvr said i can 'not' drag it... he jus said 'Swim with the Pale'
But moving on...

but nvm laa... coach also sabo so many times during the relays... but its nice to see the competitve spirit come out once in a while. I'm sure he is dying to swim with us everytime he coaches us on Tuesdays. Standing up there can be tough, especially when u soooooo wanna jump in and join in. He's taking a break for Xmas now so it will be time to have some quiet Tuesdays for a while... Maybe he'll take up a Nike+ Challenge with Duan-o or me, or both... But in any case...

a tribute to my fren's late cat...A fren told me a very sad story yesterday when I went to the Vivo shop... his cat had died. But not due to old age or an illness... but due to a stray dog attacking it, almost ripping its head off... The way A told me was like... Normally A will let the cats roam outside after work for a while everyday... so that day, while they were roaming, A's neighbour saw this grp of stray dogs attacking the cat. He immediately shoo-ed the dogs away but the damage was alredi done =( so the neighbour quickly grabbed the cat and brought it up to A's house. Still alive at this point in time, A took his poor cat and rushed to get a cab to rescue him... but it was too late for this poor lil thing... he died whilst getting the cab.
I dont have a picture of him... but he was such a cute cat!! he cld talk and say MAMA... amazingly... A lives with his bro K and they each have a cat... those two cats were sooo close. Such a waste =(
made me think of my 4 lil 4-legged-babies at home and how much i love them =$ if a stray dog bit FrauKatze's head off, or bit SmallKatze or HundKatze.. hurt my HerrKatze.. ill be so devastated... =(
So i told A i wld give him a new kitty when my HundKatze and SmallKatze have babies. Hope it cld at least bring back some joy. Kittens are always full of fun and joy =)

Hope you enjoy COACH's sessions - I do =)
but every Tuesday atr bout 4pm, i start to get a bit scared and run to find something with high energy content... often MacD or CHoc bar does it for me to make sure i got enough to get through his sessions. But you feel damn good after it =)
